Join Chris in this beginner friendly workshop, as he takes you through the technique and alignment of some of the most common arm balancing postures. This workshop will work on building mobility, strength, stability and, most importantly, confidence. Some of the postures we will be exploring are:
Chaturanga dandasana (4-limbed staff pose or low plank) - not technically an arm balance but a great preparatory posture
Bakasana (crow pose)
Eka pada galavasana (flying pigeon pose)
Eka pada koundinyasana I + II (flying splits + revolved flying splits pose)
Parsva bakasana (side crow pose)
Regardless of whether you regularly practice arm balances and want to improve your technique, or you don’t have any experience with them at all, everyone is welcome!
