Endurance

  • 20 Gellibrand Crescent Reservoir, Victoria 3072 Australia (map)

Sunday, June 2nd, marks a significant event for Endurance enthusiasts—a charitable endeavour in support of one of our Oshun Yogi’s Fab Salvatore. Join us from 12:30pm to 2:30pm for a remarkable journey of resilience and solidarity as we embark on 108 Sun Salutations led by Kira.

This event is a precursor to Fab's extraordinary undertaking—a 500km ride in July 2024, dubbed the RED23 - Doing Good ride for Hands Across the Water [Hands]. This noble expedition ventures through the awe-inspiring Isaan Region in northeast Thailand. Commencing in Bueng Kan, riders will traverse alongside the majestic Mekong River, immersing themselves in its rich biodiversity. Journeying westward, they'll traverse through villages and rural communities, offering a rare glimpse into unseen corners of the region.

On the last day, the riders will pedal into the heart of compassion—Baan Home Hug in Yasothon—where their arrival will be met with exuberant cheers from the children whose lives they've touched through their unwavering support.

Join us as we rally behind Fab's mission and celebrate the power of endurance, community, and altruism.

Hands started as a charity in response to the Boxing Day Tsunami. Now, they support 350+ children living in 7 homes and projects across Thailand.

The kids who come to live in a Hands home are there because they have no choice. It's often the result of one of three heartbreaking situations:

- They have no known family to care for them

- They have family members who are unable to care for them

- They are living in an unsafe environment and have been placed in Hands care by the police or government

Just as important as filling their bellies with healthy food and providing a safe bed to sleep in, with the support of amazing donors like you, the vision of Hands is to help these kids see the opportunities that lie before them, to see a life of choice.
